Project Overview
This dual occupancy development was designed to deliver two contemporary residences with strong architectural identity and functional family living. The design combines contrasting materials, clean geometric forms, and integrated landscaping to create a refined streetscape presence while maximising internal amenity and spatial efficiency.
Contemporary Architectural Form
The architectural language is defined by a composition of bold rectilinear volumes articulated through contrasting light and dark finishes. A central vertical element establishes visual hierarchy between the two dwellings while reinforcing the symmetry of the overall composition.
The use of masonry at the base provides visual grounding and durability, while rendered upper elements create a contemporary architectural expression. Balconies and recessed openings introduce depth and shadow, enhancing the façade articulation and contributing to a strong yet balanced streetscape outcome.
Careful consideration was given to entry sequencing, privacy, and visual cohesion to ensure both dwellings read as a unified development while maintaining individual identity.
Functional Planning & Modern Living
Internally, the planning prioritises efficient layouts and contemporary open-plan living environments suited to modern family lifestyles. Living, kitchen, and dining spaces are arranged to maximise natural light and spatial flow, while upper-level private zones provide separation and comfort for occupants.
Material selections focus on durability and timeless appeal, combining clean modern finishes with warm natural textures to create comfortable residential environments. Outdoor areas, including balconies and landscaped front gardens, extend the living experience while contributing to the overall architectural presentation.
The result is a cohesive dual occupancy development that balances architectural quality, functionality, and long-term liveability.
