Project Overview
This dual occupancy development was designed to deliver two contemporary residences with strong architectural presence and functional family layouts. The design balances modern built form with warm materiality, integrating brickwork, timber elements, and landscaping to create a cohesive and refined streetscape outcome.
Architectural Form & Streetscape Presence
The architectural composition is defined by bold rectilinear upper volumes positioned above a grounded masonry base, creating a layered façade with strong visual identity. The use of brickwork provides durability and texture at the lower level, while the upper forms adopt a darker contemporary cladding to establish contrast and architectural clarity.
Balconies with integrated planter elements introduce greenery to the façade, softening the built form and enhancing the residential character within the streetscape. Entry sequencing and garage integration were carefully considered to ensure functional clarity for both dwellings while maintaining a cohesive architectural expression across the development.
The result is a contemporary architectural outcome that remains sympathetic to the surrounding residential context while establishing a distinct visual identity.
Functional Planning & Contemporary Living
Internally, the planning prioritises efficient spatial organisation and modern open-plan living environments suited to contemporary family lifestyles. Living, kitchen, and dining areas are arranged to maximise natural light and spatial flow, while upper-level private zones provide separation and comfort for occupants.
Material selections and architectural detailing focus on durability and timelessness, combining warm textures with clean modern finishes to create comfortable and refined living environments. Outdoor spaces, including balconies and landscaped areas, extend the usable living footprint and reinforce the connection between interior and exterior environments.
The development delivers two well-balanced homes that respond to both functional requirements and architectural quality, achieving a cohesive residential outcome across the site.
